FAQ

What are the steps to having you build my website?
Contact me, via e-mail, contact form, or telephone, and let me know what your website needs are. I will suggest the best options for your website, and I can provide an estimate. Once the general function and appearance of your website is decided, I will provide a detailed charter (documents are accessed and signed online). If you agree to the details and dates, we’ll sign a website development agreement. I will begin work according to our agreement, and you’ll have opportunities, as the project is developed, to review the progress and results.
Do you use Wix?
The short answer is “No.” The longer answer is that Wix is not a web programming language. It is a drag n’ drop website builder. Much like anyone can set up a page on Facebook, anyone can set up a page with such an editor. For speed and convenience, it is nice. I am generally hired to create unique websites, with functionality that is not limited by a website-building application.
What is the difference between a website and a domain?
Please see this article, for an explanation of the different components of a web presence.
Do you offer domain names and hosting?
I don’t sell domain names, or provide hosting. I am able, via a provider of these services, to manage these products for you.
